Our Commitment and Zero-Tolerance Policy

We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage and child labour. We will not knowingly engage with any individual, organisation or partner that is involved in, or complicit with, such practices. All staff, contractors and suppliers are expected to adhere to this commitment and to act with integrity and transparency in all dealings connected to our business.

We recognise that even a small company in the transport and removals sector can be exposed to modern slavery risks, particularly where outsourced labour, subcontracted services or goods from higher-risk geographies are involved. We are therefore committed to continuous improvement in identifying and mitigating these risks.

Our Business and Supply Chains

Man with Van Belgravia provides removals, man and van, and related logistics services. Our key supply chains include vehicle leasing and maintenance providers, fuel and equipment suppliers, cleaning and facilities services, and subcontracted labour where necessary to meet operational demands.

We seek to work only with reputable suppliers who share our standards on human rights, fair pay, safe working conditions and ethical conduct. We expect our suppliers to conduct their own business in line with national law and international labour standards.

Supplier Standards and Audits

We are progressively embedding modern slavery requirements into our supplier selection, onboarding and ongoing management processes. This includes communicating our zero-tolerance stance to existing and prospective suppliers and requiring them to confirm that they do not engage in modern slavery or human trafficking.

Where appropriate and proportionate to the risk, we may request information from suppliers about their own modern slavery policies, due diligence and workforce practices. We reserve the right to conduct audits or request independent assessments of their compliance. If concerns are identified, we will work collaboratively to seek remediation, but we may suspend or terminate relationships with suppliers that fail to take adequate corrective action or that are found to be in serious breach of our expectations.

Training, Awareness and Employee Responsibilities

All staff involved in procurement, recruitment and the management of subcontractors are made aware of the risks of modern slavery and the importance of vigilance. We encourage employees to familiarise themselves with the signs of exploitation, such as restriction of movement, withholding of wages or documents, and indications of coercion or intimidation.

Managers are responsible for promoting an open culture where concerns can be raised without fear of retaliation and for ensuring that contracted workers engaged through agencies or third parties are treated fairly and lawfully.

Reporting Concerns and Whistleblowing Channels

We are committed to providing safe, confidential channels for raising concerns about suspected modern slavery or other unethical conduct. Any employee, contractor, supplier or member of the public who has reason to believe that modern slavery may be occurring in connection with our operations or supply chains is strongly encouraged to speak up.

Concerns can be reported directly to management or through established internal reporting processes. Reports will be handled sensitively, investigated promptly and, where appropriate, escalated for further action. We will not tolerate victimisation or retaliation against any person who raises a concern in good faith, even if it is ultimately not substantiated.

Continuous Improvement and Annual Review
